Second Chance Farm

Limestone, Tennessee

Second Chance Farm is a diverse farm that includes acres of hay fields, woods, perimeter areas for wildlife, native and not-so-native fruit and nut trees including black walnut, beech, hickory, persimmon, apple, pear, and cherry.  The garden area is approximately 1.5 acres with a yearly rotation and soil improvement plan based on cover crops and composted green manures and plant materials primarily. We have a small greenhouse for seedling starting, and start all of our own plants using certified organic or naturally grown seeds.

The basic goal on this farm is to improve the land and soil for future generations (of humans and other animals) while we provide healthy Certified Naturally Grown vegetables and hay for ourselves, the animals who live with us, our neighbors, and the community.
